Wet Utilities Design Engineer

Job description:

We are currently searching for a highly talented Wet Utilities Design Engineer to join us in Jordan! You will join an expanding company with great growth opportunities. You will get to work on Sophisticated projects across the GCC using complex engineering techniques and performing studies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide design solutions related to wet utilities such as irrigation, potable water, sewer, stormwater, subsurface drainage networks.
• Prepare concept, preliminary and detailed designs together with Tender and Contract documents for masterplan, transportation and highway projects
• Produce reports, drawings, calculations and presentations
• Prepares engineering computations, bills of quantity, estimates, surveys, and designs.
• Design of general arrangements, layouts plans & profiles related with wet utilities.
• Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
• Advise and present engineering solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Submit designs to local authorities and follow up to obtain approvals.
• Provides technical guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters, and other Engineers.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in Wet Utilities Design with thorough knowledge of Utilities Design Software.
• Ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software
• Good written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project team.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent knowledge in utilizing Civil 3D design software is required
